Waves of Peace - Yoga and Brunch
Join The Planet Body (Lauren Ellis-Stretch) and Susy Walsh Wellness, with brunch by plant-based chef Kelly Mason, for this half day retreat embodying the many aspects of 'peace' in honour of International Peace Day.
Through movement, connection and sound we'll seek to cultivate tranquillity, calm and balance within, with an intention of allowing this to ripple out to the collective. Together we'll hold space for unity and hope, within and without.
We'll start our time together in community with a nourishing brunch from Kelly, before moving into a slow and soft yin yoga practice with Susy where we'll explore ideas of what inner peace feels like for us. Then Lauren will get our bodies moving with a 'Shake the Dust!' practice, a cathartic, heart-expanding practice that blends yoga, pilates, body-weight movements and more, all set to an energising soundscape to uplift and inspire.
Then we'll flow into a deeply relaxing crystalline sound bath where we can allow our peaceful intentions to meet with sound waves and reverberate out into the universal consciousness for the benefit of all beings.
Whether you want to use this retreat to foster a more internal, personal sense of peace or whether you want to use your yoga practice to contribute to help ease suffering across our global community, this is space for you to show up as you are and just be, with no expectations. Suitable for all levels of practitioner and beginners very welcome. A portion of proceeds will be donated to charities that work towards world peace.

Astrology Club with The Planet Body
Come join us at The Pod (23 Radium St) for the first of our monthly Astrology Club sessions with Lauren from The Planet Body. This is a space for us all to gather and connect to the movements of the cosmos. Everyone is welcome from complete beginners to seasoned astrologers. Lauren shares her insights on recent astrological movements and what to expect from the coming month. This is a space to share and reflect with one another as well as taking time for ourselves in journalling or embodiment practices led by Lauren.
What to expect:
An in-depth analysis of current astrological events and planetary movements with Lauren.
Space to share your thoughts, feelings and recent experiences in a sharing circle.
Journalling prompts for reflection on the month past and prompts in preparation for the month ahead.
Light embodiment practices to support you in accessing your earth - planetary body connection.
Herbal teas and sweet treats.
What to bring:
Curiosity, an open heart, a journal and pen, maybe some little snacks, and most importantly a respect for the power of the cosmos above.

Astrology 101: Speaking the Stars (Intermediate)
Following her beginners session ‘Mapping the Heavens’, Lauren is back with her second session ‘Speaking the Stars’ for those who want to continue to build upon their astrological knowledge and find more fluency in how they can read the transits and birth charts… from Mapping it out to Speaking it out.
Leading on from learning the signs and the planets, we deep dive into the houses, aspects and how planetary transits impact individuals. and the art of reading birth charts. We suggest attending the Mapping the Heavens session before this session unless you already have a foundational understanding of astrology.
In this session we will be looking at birth charts. To have your chart printed please send your date of birth, time of birth and place of birth to lellisstretchcoaching@gmail.com If you do not feel comfortable having others read your individual birth chart we will have other anonymised charts available.

Yin Yang Mondays
A blending of two energies (action and rest) for a truly balanced practice.
With lots of freedom to somatically explore your inner world, this practice is designed to ignite the energy body and concentrate the mind.
Expect different meditation and breathing techniques, a dynamic flow and some restful yin postures. In this class there is something for everyone!

New Moon Yin
A space for deep introspection and a chance to work with the energy of the new moon in Gemini, to intention set with the truth of our cyclical nature.
What’s included:
-Options to journal and reflect on what true for you and what you’d like to bring forth with the new cycle of the moon

Astrology 101: Mapping the Heavens
This introductory session will support you in understanding the basics of your birth chart so you can integrate the wisdom of the planets into your day to day life. We will also learn how astrological energies are moving us all collectively through the sun and moon cycles, and planetary transits. So, whether you are a space holder looking to use the cycles and transits in your classes or an individual just curious to know more, this is the perfect starting point for your journey into the cosmos!
